Scholastic Going After Person Who Scanned Deathly Hallows
|
According to the LA Times (registration required), Scholastic have filed a subpoena to find the person who allegedly posted copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows online on Photobucket. Gaia Interactive Inc received the subpoena and have removed the scans and have temporarily banned the person from their website.
Harry Potter's Page spoiler policy contends that we will not post any spoilers of Deathly Hallows on our site, unless the information comes straight from one of the publishers or J.K. Rowling herself. To help protect the fans from spoilers, we are continuing to disallow any news posting comments, not allowing any new members on our Discussion Boards (in case their name contains a spoiler, which has happened in the past), and are approving each post on our discussion boards until July 22nd, or when the first board moderator has finished the book.
