Dan Radcliffe and Maggie Smith Win WOS Awards

Dan Radcliffe won two Theatregoers' Choice Awards from Whatsonstage.com for his stage role in Equus. The first was the DEWYNTERS London Newcomer of the Year and the second for the AKA Theatre Event of the Year for his publicity shots with the play. When accepting, Dan described his role in Equus as one of the greatest experiences of his life. "I'm truly delighted and thank everyone so much for voting for me," He said. "'Equus' is a tremendous and thought-provoking play and I'm so proud and honoured to have been a part of this incredible production." Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) also won the FRANCO’S Best Actress in a Play award for her stage role in The Lady from Dubuque at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
