Here's the news on everything Harry Potter!

Rickman Directs "Creditors" For The Donmar Season
In an article, Playbill has listed the plays The Donmar Warehouse will present for its 2008-2009 season at Covent Garden in London's West End. Alan Rickman, known as "Professor Snape" in the Harry Potter films, will direct Creditors by August Strindberg, the second show of the season.

Creditors is a dark comedy dealing with obsession, honor, and revenge. In honor of The Donmar's commitment to present European drama in new adaptations for a modern audience, Strindberg's play will be presented by David Greig and directed by Alan Rickman.

Although he is known for his acting in movies (other than the Harry Potter films) like Sense and Sensibility and Love Actually, Rickman has directed My Name is Rachel Corrie at the Royal Court Theatre, subsequently at the West End's Playhouse Theatre, and Off-Broadway in New York. He has also directed The Winter Guest at the Almeida, as well as the film adaptation of the play which starred Emma Thompson, known for her role as "Professor Trelawney" in the Harry Potter films..

The dates for Creditors will be September 30 - November 15, 2008.
