An article in the UK's Bromsgrove Advertiser states that Mark Williams, known to Harry Potter fans as "Mr. Weasley" in the film adaptations of the books, will be returning to his hometown for this Friday's opening of the new North Bromsgrove High School building.
Mr. Williams had attended North Bromsgrove High School in the 1970's. The school is now a specialist media arts college which received funding in 2005 via the private finance initiative (PFI) project. The funds were used to build a new school on its existing site.
During his visit, Mr. Williams will lead a drama workshop for the students. According to the article, the school's director of specialism, Steve Cowperthwaite, said:
"Having Mark Williams with us on opening day is very exciting. He has achieved great things since his schooldays here and will be a wonderful source of inspiration for our students."
