No Moaning Myrtle in Half-Blood Prince

It looks like Moaning Myrtle won't be in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Snitch Seeker have spoken with Shirley Henderson's (Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films) representatives at HamiltonHodell, and they have confirmed that she is not in the film.

I'm sorry to report that Moaning Myrtle has not made it into the latest film.

In case you don't recall, in the Half-Blood Prince book, Moaning Myrtle consoled Draco Malfoy in a bathroom in Hogwarts, and Harry Potter walked in on the two and ends up performing the Sectumsempra spell on Draco.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be in theatres November 21, 2008.

I THOUGHT THAT MYRTLE WAS ALSO PLAYED BY THE ONE WHO PLAYS HARRY POTTER.JUST WEARING A ROBE,HAIRPIECE AND NERDY GLASSES.

Well... I don't think its too bad that moaning murtle is not going to be in the movie. To be honest she was too much for the movie and she is way too emotional and well just plain Moody. I just hope they don't take too much of Draco out.

Moaning Murtle's not essential to the plot, like she was in Chamber of Secrets. I won't miss her ... what I *really* miss is seeing the house elves in the movies!! Dobby had BETTER be put into the last movie ... his murder was the only time in the series that I bawled my eyes out.

Thats not as bad as the news I read last week about Flur not being in this movie. That make you wonder if there is even going to be a wedding. Are they going to make the last movie true to the books. Or are many people going to be disappointed. I know I will be. Come to think about it, why don't they just take out the fact that Harry even gets the book that once belonged to the Half Blood Prince.
