More news is coming out about the round table discussion that took place at last weekend's Florida Supercon that we told you about. The discussion included Harry Potter actors Natalia Tena (Tonks), Hugh Mitchell (Colin Creevey), Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), and Danielle Tabor (Angelina Johnson). Natalia Tena mentions that Dumbledore's funeral will not take place. Some of the romance that takes place during the funeral will instead take place during the new scene at the Burrow (find more information on this scene here). She also mentions that she has to kill a bunch of 'fire snakes'.

Ok seriously, the funeral is one of the most important scenes. It shows Harry breaking up with Ginny, his decision to go after the Horcruxes, and Ron and Hermoine's choice to go with him! Also, how can they kill the greatest wizard of all time and not show a funeral for him, I mean, they gave Cedric a funeral! I cant believe Rowling agreed to the burrow scene replacing the funeral!!!!

WHY!!!! I agree with most other comments on here. That was an important scene in the book because the fact that Albus Dumbledore is loved by Harry, Hermione, and Ron and the fact that Dumbledore plays a very important part in their lives makes the scene extremely re-memorable, emotional, and important! It was a good ending in the book and replacing it with a scene at the Burrow will make the entire effect much less powerful and a whole lot less meaningful.

omg i cant belive there taking this scene out. I hate it wen this hapens. dnt they understand that us fans could watch the hp films for hours soo include evrey chapterrr. Espeshilii in the 7th coz itss all so crutial and important.

this is getting rediculous! one reason why that scene is so memorable is because of all the romance so thank god they're not taking that out altogether! but still, harry talks with scrimgeour again, he tells ron and hermione that he's not coming back, and it's all just so emotional! yeah, they could just put all that in other scenes, but the fact that they're at dumbledore's funeral just makes it that much more stand-out!
