The article goes on to state that the formula for the perfect voice is a representation of subtle blend of tone, speed, frequency, words per minute and intonation. The experiments that were conducted revealed how vocal traits that projected confidence and trust received received high scores. An ideal voice should not speak more than 164 words per minute and pause for 0.48 seconds between sentences that fall in intonation.
Professor Andrew Linn, a linguistics from Sheffield University and Shannon Harris, a sound engineer and keyboard player for Rod Stewart and Lily Allen, conducted this vocal study. In the article, Professor Linn said that we, as humans, know instinctively which voices gives us shivers and which ones make us shudder with disgust.
