Emma Thompson Screenwriter for My Fair Lady Remake
|
Playbill.com have confirmed that Emma Thompson, who portrays Professor Trelawney in the Harry Potter films, will make the screenplay for the remake of the film My Fair Lady. Ms. Thompson, who has been nominated for, and won, numerous Academy awards for both her acting and screenwriting, will do the work based on George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion.
Columbia Pictures is joining forces with CBS Films to create the new film version. It will be produced by Duncan Kenworthy and Cameron Mackintosh. Keira Knightley is in talks for the part of Eliza Doolittle. Filming is to take place in London. |

| groovy..Emma Thompson's screenplay for Sense and Sensibility was realllllly good..plus, she acted in it..i just watched it the other day and i'm tellin' yah..tis a good movie yo..i believe she wont he goldon globe for best adapted screenplay for that movie so rok on to her |
