Cinema Blend are reporting that Warner Bros wants to make a film (or films) based off the stories in The Tales of Beedle the Bard. They're stating that after the Harry Potter films are done, they don't really have another series, so they're considering making the film(s) based off of Tales.
None of these stories seems to have any connection to the other, which ought to make it difficult for Warners to fit them all into a single film. Could they be planning five movies? That would seem unwise. These are short stories after all, it’s unlikely there’s enough material in any one story to justify a feature film.
There is no confirmation on this, so please consider it a rumor for now.
Huh. I've heard that WB does have another series, and is doing the Shannara series by Terry Brooks into movies. But they are starting with book 2 - Elfstones of Shannara. Weird.

it'd be good, but i dunno . . . it might be a bit boring. Hopefully they put in all of Dumbledore's comments, they're really important.

The thing to do I think would be start it as a side project now. Then with any luck you could tack it on as bonus material for Deathly Hallows. Two stories before the first half, feature the "Brothers" in the movie itself, and the other two stories after the closing credits of the second half.
Or if thats to much of a pain, make it a bonus feature for the eventual DVD release.
