The Tales of Beedle the Bardis shortlisted for the category WHSmith Children's Book of the Year for the Galaxy British Book of the Year Awards. Other books in the category include Dinosaurs Love Underpants, Horrid Henry Robs the Bank, Captain Underpants & the Preposterous Plight, Artemis Fowl & the Time Paradox, and Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn.
Julie Walters (Mrs. Weasley in the Harry Potter films) is also shortlisted for Biography of the Year for her book That's Another Story. Another Harry Potter actress, Dawn French (The Fat Lady in Prisoner of Azkaban), is also nominated in the same category for her autobiography Dear Fatty.
UK Harry Potter audio book narrator Stephen Fry received a nomination in the category of Popular Non-Fiction for his book Stephen Fry in America.

The awards ceremony takes place on April 5 in London.

Wait....if it's for British Book of The Year, why is Breaking Dawn on there?! Besides that, Breaking Dawn is NOT a book for children. SMeyer herself said she wanted a rating put on the book that because it wasn't really one for the younger kids.
But that's awesome about Beedle!
