Dan's Stunt Double May Never Walk Again
|
David Holmes, Dan Radcliffe's stunt double in the Harry Potter films, has been told he will never walk again. He was injured while filming a flying scene for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows that involved an explosion. The explosion went wrong and flew him so far that he missed all of the safety mats and landed hard on the ground last January.
He had surgery in an attempt to fix his vertebrae, but unfortunately it was not successful.
David, of course, is devastated by the news, but is determined that he'll be back. He is comforted by friends and family that visit him, including Dan Radcliffe, Tom Felton, and stunt coordinator Greg Powell.
All of us here continue to have him in our thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery. |

| Is there any way that Potter fans would be able to put together something, like a book of messages, to send to him? He's put all this work into these movies for us and look what he got in return. He should know that all his hard work is appreciated. |

| My thoughts and prayers are with him. I really hope he gets better. |
