John Hurt's Return As Ollivander For DH Is a Possibility
|
John Hurt who appeared as the wizard wandmaker "Ollivander" in the first Harry Potter film is currently planning to attend a fund-raising dinner on March 27 for the Derby Quads Arts Centre in South Derbyshire, England. He became the Centre's patron last September.
In an interview with this is derbyshire.co.uk, Mr. Hurt discusses his childhood in South Derbyshire as well as his career. Of course, he mentions his Harry Potter role and the possibility of reprising it for Deathly Hallows. Here is what he was quoted to have said:
"I'm in negotiations at the minute because Ollivander comes back into the books," he says. "My son was 12 when it all first started and he was thrilled at the time that I was in it. And all things being equal I will be back."
My fingers are crossed, Mr. Hurt.
