Report: Jamie Campbell Bower as Grindelwald; Fiennes as Hades

The Daily Mail are reporting that Jamie Campbell Bower is in final negotiations as Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Jamie is best known for his role as Anthony in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, which also stars Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Timothy Spall (Peter Pettigrew).

Jamie will also be doing some work with Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) in the second of the Twilight films, New Moon, as Caius, one of the Italian Volturi vampires.

The article also goes on to say that if Jamie is in the film that he won't be filming for some time and that Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint have been taking some choreography lessons.

But Bower won't shoot his scenes for some time because director David Yates is concentrating on filming as many scenes with Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint as possible before Ms Watson decamps for university in September.

The trio have done several action sequences, and Daniel and Emma have been working with a choreographer for some big wedding scenes that will be shot in the summer.

Update: The same article goes on to say that Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) is in negotiations to play Hades in the remake version of the 1981 film The Clash of the Titans.

well, he's ancient in vampire years but i dont think it ever mentioned really how old he was when he died..just that the three of them are like crazy old in vampire years

i was under the impression caius was old?? Maybe I misread the original description of him and spent the entire series picturing him 50 years too old :P

yes, alan rickman is always the man..he was a GREAT judge turpin!! i cant wait to see him as the catapillar in tim burton's alice in wonderland :)

Don't forget Alan Rickman was also in Sweeney Todd as Judge Turpin.

Cool!!! Another great announcement! Now only if they'd confirm *lol* I loved him in Sweeney Todd....not liking the New Moon bit though. But whatever.
LeakyCauldron is also reporting that Bathilda Bagshot has supposedly been cast too! And the choreography lessons are for the wedding scenes they're filming in the summer! Yay!
I haven't heard anything disappointing yet...well except for the fact that they're going to do a lot of filming wiht handheld cameras. I hate that.
