GMTV's Ben Shepherd Received Cameo Role In Half-Blood Prince

According to a brief article posted on ITN, Ben Shepherd received the part of a wizard parent in the Weasleys' joke shop in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The GMTV presenter stated that he was invited to do the part since he was well-known to everyone on the set after filming a few documentaries about the making of the Harry Potter films: "..."I was lucky enough to get a part in one of the scenes. I'm a wizarding parent in a joke shop. "I've done documentaries for the last three films and got to know everybody really well, and they finally said: 'Come on and give it a go'."
