Snow for Hogsmeade at Wizarding World of Harry Potter

In the Harry Potter books, many of you know that Hogsmeade is often covered in snow when Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger go there during outings while at Hogwarts. It looks as though Hogsmeade at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Florida will have snow as well. What? Snow in the middle of sunny/hot/humid Florida? That's right! According to the Orlando Sentinel, Universal have signed on SnowMasters to help achieve their white visions. Universal has signed a special-effects contract with SnowMasters Evaporative Snow Systems Inc. The Anderson, Ala.-based company builds fake snow-making machines and offers everything from blowing snow to ground blankets to faux icicles. Now, to anyone like me who lives in Florida, this is definitely a treat. But for those (again like me) who are huge Harry Potter fans and a stickler for details, this is an absolute thrill. I'll have to make sure we have our Gryffindor scarves when we go! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is expected to open at the beginning of 2010.

sweeet, i love the snow making stuff in florida..they do that at the international mall in tampa at christmas..i've never seen it though..and yes, the trio always seem to be going into hogsmeade at winter so that'll be cool
