Rob Knox, who portrayed Marcus Belby in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and was killed during a knife fight last May while trying to help his brother, will have concerts and film festivals in his honor.
The Bexley Film Festival, due to be held this June, has changed their name to The Rob Knox Film Festival. The festival will be held in the London borough of Bexley at Cineworld, Bexleyheath on June 10th. The festival is for amateur filmmakers. This year the organizers are especially interested in the Community Film Category, especially those entries that deal with the issues of knife crime, gangs and alcohol abuse. Additionally a tribute concert will be held at St John the Evangelist Church, Sidcup, at 7:30pm on May 2nd. Bands include Live Politics, DJ Ironic, and a number of other south-east London bands. All proceeds will go to the Rob Knox Memorial Fund and the church.
