Ballantyne Is A “Baddy” In Half-Blood Prince & Deathly Hallows
|
Norwich Evening News reported that Norfolk actor Martin Ballantyne will be seen as “Scary Face” in Half-Blood Prince, but was “ecstatic” to also be included in Deathly Hallows:
“I play Scary Face in The Half Blood Prince - but I didn't have any lines in that.
“But in The Deathly Hallows the director, David Yates, had remembered me and I was given the part of Mundungus' Associate. He is a baddy - I'm always the baddy - and I had a few lines to learn and say.”

Ballantyne stated that he cannot repeat the lines he had to say in a scene where Mundungus is negotiating a purchase.
The scene was filmed a month ago when Ballantyne went to Leavesden Studios and was told that he had the part of Mundungus’ associate. He was also told by the director, "we will try something a bit more meaty this time."
During the time he was filming, Ballantyne had the opportunity to meet the leading actors and actresses including Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter). He said "they were all lovely to work with": "It's like a big family when you get there."
Ballantyne was also quoted to have said that he will be in Deathly Hallows 2. He also mentions the release times for Half-Blood Prince, and the two Deathly Hallows films which have not been confirmed by Warner Bros., except for the release time of Half-Blood Prince.
According to the article, Ballantyne also was a “baddy” as one of The Joker’s henchmen in The Dark Knight.
Please note that the article misspelled the name of the actor who was cast as “Mundungus”. The actor is Andy Linden not Andy Linton.
