Deathly Hallows Filming in Pembrokeshire May 11 though 15

We previously reported that filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows would take place in Pembrokeshire in the early summer. The BBC are now reporting that the dates for filming are May 11 through 15.

Some residents are concerned about not having access to the beach while filming takes place. Local authorities state that the beach will be open, although road closures will take place while the Harry Potter crew are filming.

Filming for the Robin Hood film will also be taking place at the same area. Pembrokeshire council cabinet member Rob Lewis stated that having the film crews in the area is a huge boost to the local economy. "The decision to film parts of Harry Potter and Robin Hood in our county this summer is a fantastic development, which will bring benefits to our economy and the tourist industry," he said.

The release date for the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is November 19, 2010, and the second release date is July 15, 2011.

Thanks Grubbly-Plank, I found it. I wish I was going on holiday on there next month, but if seems a bit of a long drive from Worcester, where I live. It seems a fair way for you too, but I hope you do get to go. Let me know if you make it.

If you go to google then maps & type in Freshwater West Pembs SA71, you'll see it. It's around the coast from Freshwater East. I live near Llangrannog, so might try to get over there to see what's going on.

It's Shell Cottage that they're filming in Pembs & it's in Freshwater West.

The beach?
That must be when they escape from Gringotts on the dragon.
I don't recall any other scene in the book that fits with beach/water.
Anyone else?
