Australian Goblet of Fire TV Premiere Tonight
|
The fourth Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, premieres on Australian televison tonight, April 26th! The movie will air on Channel 9 from 7:30pm to 10:50pm. You can read Channel 9's summary for Goblet of Fire here!

April Is Harry Potter Month On ABC-TV
|
As previously reported, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will premiere on ABC-TV in the US on Saturday, April 26. Leading to that event, ABC will air the three previous Harry Potter movies on its ABC Saturday Movie of the Week. And of course, that means ABC-TV will start with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone tonight. Then, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will air on Saturday, April 12; and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will air on Saturday, April 19. Yea! |

Harry Potter Movies Going Blu-Ray
|
A report from Home Media Magazine states that all of the Harry Potter movies are set to be released on Blu-Ray. The articles states that each of the movies is to include commentary from the writers and/or directors. No time was given when they'll be on store shelves, but hopefully they will be soon!

GOF Up for Children's BAFTA
|
Voting is now open for the "public award" category in this years British Academy of Film & Television Arts' children's film and TV awards (BAFTA's). Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one of 10 movies to be nominated in the "Feature Film" caegory.
Go and vote here (but only once :sad:) and the awards will take place on Sunday 26th November in London. |

Goblet of Fire on HBO November 19th
|
Just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays, HBO will be airing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire beginning November 19th at 7:00pm. They also have a special on the making of the film that will show the month of November, beginning the 7th at 6:45am.

GOF Wins All Nominated Categories at SyFy Genre Awards
|
The SyFy Genre Awards, by the SciFi Channel, took place this past weekend, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire film won all awards that they were nominated for!
Dan Radcliffe won Best Actor/Movie, Emma Watson won Best Actress/Movie and Best Young Actor, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire won for Best Movie!

GOF Soundtrack Song Nominated

The World Soundtrack Award Nominations have been announced and the song "Magic Works" written and performed by Jarvis Cocker that is from the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire soundtrack, is nominated for "Best Original Song Written for Film".
Awards will be presented on October 14 in Ghent, Belgium. |

Goblet of Fire HD DVD Details Released
|
Warner Bros have released details on the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire HD DVD.
According to the site, The film will be presented in 2.35:1 widescreen and 1080p video, and include both Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround soundtracks. Among the extras are eight featurettes, additional scenes, a Harry Potter timeline and the film's theatrical trailer.
The HD DVD will also include an "In-Movie Experience" interactive video commentary feature, which will include additional making-of footage, cast and crew interviews and other behind-the-scenes material.

Matt over at Micromagic Systems has written us once again, this time letting us know about some new photos that he has of some animatronics from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He has photos of the Hungarian Horntail dragon, and of Lord Voldemort before he was converted back to his full human form. Make sure to check them out here. Goblet of Fire 2D IMAX $20M Master
|
It was announced today that the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire digitally re-mastered 2D IMAX film grossed over $20 million, the first to reach this milestone.
"We are thrilled with the unprecedented box office performance of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in IMAX theatres," said Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures. "The IMAX release helped contribute to the overall excitement surrounding the Harry Potter campaign as well as the theatrical success of the film." |
