Catching up on a few articles on the Harry Potter stars...
The first is of Katie Leung (Cho Chang). She recently attended the British Fashion Council's Fashion Forward in London. You can see some photos of her over at UHP and KatieLeungFan.com.

The latest edition of Disney Adventure has an interview with Dan, Emma, and Rupert. In it, Rupert is asked what he does in his free time. I’ve started playing golf. I’m getting better. I play with the Weasley twins quite a lot, and a lot of the crew play. Actually, there’s a Harry Potter Golf Day on the set. There’s a great trophy that has a Snitch on it.. Snitch Seeker has scans of the magazine here!

Swiss OOTP Premiere
|
The Swiss premiere of Order of the Phoenix took place yesterday in Zurich and Katie Leung, James Phelps and Oliver Phelps were in attendance.
The Finnish premiere of the movie will take place on July 11th in Helsinki (attended by Katie Leung and Bonnie Wright) and the Irish premiere will take place in Dublin on July 8th (attended by Devon Murray and Evanna Lynch).

The Telegraph asked Katie Leung (Cho Chang), Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom), and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) about their experiences with the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film and what the actors would like to see happen with their characters. Here are a few excerpts:
Katie
How will you feel when your family watch the kissing scene?
I’ve never thought about that. Oh God. Well, there’s nothing I can do about it now. I’ll just have to watch the reaction on their faces when they see it.
Matt
Will you be upset if Neville gets killed off?
I would like him to live. But as long as he dies in a righteous and heroic way, I’ll be happy.
Evanna
Do you think you are like your character?
I think I am like Luna, but not as much as everyone thinks I am. She’s not as determined as I am. She wouldn’t have chased the part in the film the way I did. But we both believe in things that don’t have to have facts to back them up.
Bonnie
Have you been given any clues as to what happens to your character?
None whatsoever. I think it's best that way.
How would you like your character to end up?
I would like to see her join Harry in his quest to fight Voldemort. I don't think he should have to go it alone.
Are you looking forward to your onscreen kiss with Harry in the next film?
When I read about the kiss I wasn't expecting it at all. But I suppose I’ll get a feel of what’s to come when I see Katie and Dan’s kiss in this film.

Katie Leung: Crew Made it Impossible to Forget Upcoming Kiss
|
Katie Leung, who portrays Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films, recently spoke with The Scotsman about how nervous she was for the kissing scene with Dan Radcliffe during the filming of Order of the Phoenix.
"Of course I was nervous about it," she says, her soft tones betraying a Motherwell twang. "I blame it on the crew because they made it impossible for me to forget. Every day, somebody would come up and say things like 'Are you looking forward to it?' Or 'Euwww, it's going to be really wet!'"
It made her feel better, however, when she learned that Dan was nervous, too. "He admitted that he was nervous too, which made me feel better because I was a bag of nerves," says Katie. "We joked around, saying 'Have you brushed your teeth?' and 'Have you eaten your mints?' So we were much more relaxed when we came to do it." |

How did you work with Daniel on it? It must be a big change for him, he’s just been the hero and now…
Yeah, he’s got to fight Voldemort, he’s got to fight dragons in this film.
…He’s got to deal with girls as well.
Yeah, that’s the most courageous thing that he does. He plucks up the courage to ask me to the ball and then he gets turned down because I’ve got a boyfriend. That must be really hard for him. Most of the scenes that we did, he was walking by or gazing at me from afar, so we never really got to talk to each other until before the Yule Ball scene, when he asked me to go. That was like the big scene between me and him. We had fun. It was great filming with him because he’s so down to earth. |
