Harry Potter Uniforms Now Available To The Public
|
Ever since Chamber of Secrets, Lochaven International, Ltd. in Scotland has provided Warner Bros. with Hogwarts school uniforms for all four houses. In October 2008, the Kilmarnock Standard interviewed the knitwear manufacturing company about their association with the Harry Potter films. At that time, Lochaven’s owner Keith Murray mentioned receiving requests from fans for the uniforms:
He said: “We get e-mails from all over the world from fans of the books and films asking if they can buy one…“Although there is no legal reason why we can’t, we don’t actually actively market them so they are pretty rare…“Our quality and ability to produce relatively small batches in Scotland makes us fairly unique these days and that allows us to work within the film industry…“The garments are very visible in the films and have become recognised as an integral part of Harry Potter. There is also a large Scottish connection with the films so it’s great to be a part of it.”
Due to popular demand reinforced by the interview, the uniforms are now available.

Best Kiss Award Goes To...
|
Sadly, not Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Leung. The MTV Video Awards were full of many celebrities and many awards. The award that our characters were nominated for, Best Kiss, went to Briana Evigan and Robert Hoffman from Step Up 2. The couple sure got smoochy on the stage too. Maybe next year Harry/Ginny or Ron/Lavender will take home the award! |
