Robert Pattinson Official Twilight Photo Released
|
Robert Pattinson, who portrayed Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films, is currently starring in the film Twilight based off the popular book series written by Stephenie Meyer. Robert has the lead male role of Edward Cullen. Summit Entertainment recently released the first official photo from the film, which shows him in the center with co-stars Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed, and Jackson Rathborne.

Harry Potter stars Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire) have made it onto Movie Fanatic's Top 20 list of the Hottest Young Actors. You can vote for your favorite (Dan or Rob) in the poll placed just after the #12 spot so they can make it into the top 10! As of right now, Rob is in 1st place, and Dan is in 2nd! (Let us know who you voted for in the comments!)
Additionally, Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone) made it onto the Top 50.

Robert Pattinson Set for Twilight Role
|
Robert Pattinson, who portrayed Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, has signed on for the role of Edward in the film version of Twilight, the book by Stephanie Meyer. He will have the role of Edward, one of the teenage vampires in the series. Stephanie Meyer has stated that she is 'ecstatic' at having Robert for the role. There are very few actors who can look both dangerous and beautiful at the same time, and even fewer who I can picture in my head as Edward. Robert Pattinson is going to be amazing.
The expected release date for the film is exactly one year from now - December 12, 2008! |

Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) has been named as one of the British Stars of Tomorrow.
The article states, "With no big-screen experience, Robert Pattinson beat a host of other actors to the part of Hogwarts head boy and all-round good guy Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, due out this year. His only other screen work was in the TV film Sword of Xanten, broadcast in America last year.
This fresh-faced, photogenic 18-year-old so oozes charm and likeability that casting directors are predicting a big future. Despite his initiation via Harry Potter, Pattinson cites Tim Burton and Todd Solondz as directors he admires for “breaking boundaries”. |
