Harry Potter Stars Still Burning Bright

Newsday.com posted an article with a photo gallery titled "Life After Harry Potter". It mentions what other films the actors have done after portraying a wizard. For example, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) starred in December Boys and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) starred in Driving Lessons. Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) recently made promotional appearances for her latest film The Tale of Despereaux which is also mentioned in the article.

Potter Stars at Ring-Con German Conference

Some of the Harry Potter stars attended the 2008 Ring*Con conference in Germany recently. They included Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley), Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum), and Jamie Yeates (Marcus Flint). German Harry Potter fan site Harry Potter Experts had the chance to speak with them about the films, including a bit about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. More Changes to Florida Supercon Guest List

There have been more - yes, more! - changes to the Florida Supercon guest list. We previously reported that Stanislav Ianevski, who portrays Viktor Krum in the Harry Potter films, would attend the event, but he is no longer on the guest list.

Additionally there are reports that Oliver Phelps (George Weasley) will not be attending, however, at this time, he is still shown on the list. We had previously reported that James Phelps (Fred Weasley) would not be attending due to scheduling conflicts. If we see that Oliver's name is removed, we'll be sure to update to let you know.

The Florida Supercon begins this Friday and goes through the weekend in Weston, Florida.

Happy Birthday to Stanislav Ianevski

Happy Birthday, Mr. Ianevski!
What a coincidence that Stanislav Ianevski celebrates his 23rd birthday in the same month as his Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire co-star, Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) celebrates his own birthday! Mr. Ianevski was fortunate to have the role of “Viktor Krum”, the Bulgarian seeker. Like "Viktor", Mr. Ianevski is also from Bulgaria. He was born in Sofia on May 16, 1985.

Although Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is his only movie so far, Mr. Ianevski currently has an agent and hopes to make more movies in the future. Currently, as previously reported, he plans to attend the Florida Supercon in Weston, FL on Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25, 2008.

UPDATE: Mr. Ianeveski will not be attending the event due to the death of his grandmother. We offer our sympathies to him.

Tena Will Join Other Harry Potter Stars At FL SuperCon

We previously reported that Devon Murray (Seamus Finnegan) will join James and Oliver Phelps (the Weasley twins) and Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum) at Florida Supercon. Now, News Blaze posted a confirmation that Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks) is another star from the Harry Potter films who will be attending the convention.

Florida Supercon will take place in Weston, FL on Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25, 2008.

Update: Weasley Twins, Krum & Mystery Guest At FL Supercon

As reported, James and Oliver Phelps (the Weasley twins) and Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krum) from the Harry Potter films will be at Florida Supercon which will take place on Friday, May 23 to Sunday, May 25, 2008 in Weston, FL. There was also to be a mystery guest from the Harry Potter films. And now, it has been confirmed that the mystery guest is. . .

Stanislav Ianevski Wins Personality of the Year Award

Viktor Krum actor Stanislav Ianevski, who is currently at home in Bulgaria for the holidays, attended the Sophia News Agency's Christmas Party. While there, he was told he won their Personality of the Year award in the Entertainment category. He stayed at the party for a while, but then left to get away from all of the photographers, and went to another bar.

Stanislav Ianevski, the actor who portrays Viktor Krum in the Harry Potter films, recently spoke with the Philippine Daily Inquirer. In the article, which can be found with the Sophia News Agency, he stated that his first time on set was in the maze scene, while fighting Robert Pattinson, the Cedric Diggory actor. His first time in front of the camera, he was very nervous and his heart was beating very fast. When asked whether he felt he was a heart breaker, he said he felt he was more of a 'heart pleaser'.
