While promoting his role as “Fagin” in the upcoming PBS production of Masterpiece’s Oliver Twist, Timothy Spall did a brief interview which was posted by the Orlando Sentinel on their website. The Harry Potter actor mentions the recognition he has received for portraying “Peter Pettigrew”:
"...It's one of the smallest parts I've ever played in my life, and wherever I go in the world, it's one of the ones that gets the biggest recognition. I don't mind. I think Harry Potter is kind of a phenomenon."
Mr. Spall added that “people in Middle America” would ask him “Hey, are you the rat dude?” Masterpiece’s new version of Oliver Twist is expected to air on PBS on February 15 and 22.

Timothy Spall Signed On for 6th and 7th Potter Films
|
Timothy Spall, who portrays Peter Pettigrew/Wormtail in the Harry Potter films, recently spoke with Moviehole, confirming that he's signed on for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
“Well I'm actually.... yes... I'm in the next one”, reveals the British actor. "And I'm also in the one at the end – I have a very big scene in that. I think they might be shooting two of them back-to-back – hard to know though, what with this writer's strike and all. They're shooting the penultimate one at the moment – which I have a brief appearance in it. I should be doing that soon."
