Tom Felton’s Music Causes Online Buzz
|
PR-Inside posted a release from WENN (World Entertainment News Network) that Tom Felton, known for his role as “Draco Malfoy” in the Harry Potter films, is prompting speculation after posting videos of “secret pop performances” on YouTube. It also states that perhaps he is using his celebrity status to launch a career in the music industry since he is working on an album. We can only hope he will succeed in a music career as well as he continues to do in his acting career. 
But since there is no official statement from Mr. Felton, himself, about his music, please consider this unconfirmed. |

Tom Felton on Filming the Harry Potter Films
|
Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) recently spoke with Surrey Life about himself and filming the Harry Potter films. He has placed a copy of the interview on his official site. Here are some excerpts:
“Obviously the scenes aren’t shot in sequence and filming lasts so long that when I see it my first thought is ‘where’s the rest of it?’ And sometimes I’m thinking ‘oh yes, the next bit is really good’ but then it doesn’t happen or is somewhere else in the action.”
“I love spending time at home with my friends. On a Friday night you’ll find nine or ten of us sitting having a game of cards. I love cards: poker is favourite at the moment,” he admits. “But I’m a country boy. Surrey is the real garden of England for me. I’m well into fishing – have been since I was 11 – and regularly go to Bury Hill in Dorking and sling a rod out.” |

Draco was to Run Off Naked?

During last night's premiere in London, Tom Felton, who portrays baddie Draco Malfoy, revealed to Matthew at VTM a few interesting tid bits...
When asked about doing the sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, he said, "I'd be more than happy to come back for the sixth one if they offered me. It's nice that he has a little change in his usual... he's a little bit shallow at times, isn't he, Draco? So it's nice that, you know, he stepped up his game in the sixth film, try something a bit more interesting, so I look forward to it."
And what really happened during the ferret scene? "It's quite peculiar. They asked me...we studied the ferrets for a while, to look on how they, I dunno, sniff the floor and hand their hands out. That's pretty much it. There wasn't much to it....Originally, I was meant to run off, um, naked, 'cause I lose my clothes in...I was a little iffy about that - sixty or seventy extras and a cold day and all that. But luckily, well, luckily, I don't know if it was luckily or not, but in the end, they decided to cut it. It would've been 15, 18, X-rated! Good thing they chose not to do that one, I guess."

He he he. I'm a Tom Felton fan. Oh, he sounds so sad because his brother is leaving! Awwwww...poor Tommy-kins (I hope he never reads this o.O). Yeah, his brother is leaving for Sydney, Australia. AND he says that
"Drinking has not been terribly important to me because I would much rather drive than drink alcohol and rely on someone else to drive me home!"

Tom Felton at the Junior World Carp Competition
|
Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films) was in the World Junior Carp Tournament this last weekend. Tom, along with his brother Chris, returned to to the tournament this year to continue their roles as co-hosts at the event that was held along the shores of the St. Lawrence River from Massena to Ogdensburg, in the northeast part of the US.

He also stated he and his family celebrated his grandmother's birthday, and he went fishing. He has been invited to Japan, USA, Australia and New Zealand for some autograph signings. He wonders if anyone wants him to go so they can meet him?? |
