Correction: Possible Harry Potter Reunion At MTV Movie Awards
|
We previously reported that Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Emma Watson (Hermione), and Rupert Grint (Ron) will present a clip from Half-Blood Prince at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
MTV reported on their awards site that Robert Pattinson who portrayed "Cedric Diggory" in Goblet of Fire will also be appearing at the event with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Laurent to present a clip from The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
CORRECTION: Since the Harry Potter trio will be presenting the Half-Blood Prince via telecast from England, there will not be a reunion.
Sorry for the mistake. Just wishful thinking. Maybe they can Skype one...oops, I better just stick with the facts and state for the record, there will not be a live reunion.
The 2009 MTV Movie Awards will air live on Sunday, May 31.

Dakota in New Moon Compared To Helena in Order of the Phoenix
|
Now that it is confirmed that Dakota Fanning will portray “Jane” in the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon, Examiner.com posted an article which predicts she will give a powerful performance in the small role of a bad vamp just like Helena Bonham Carter did in her brief part as “Bellatrix Lestrange” in Order of the Phoenix.
The article went on to compare the similarities of both “Bellatrix” and “Jane” in having small, but meaningful roles when they are introduced in the books Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.
Helena will be seen again as "Bellatrix" in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince when it is released in theaters on July 17, 2009. New Moon will be released on November 20, 2009 in the theaters.

Robert Pattinson a Possible Presenter at the Oscars
|
Rumours are abounding about the internet that Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter films) will possibly be a presenter during the Oscars, which take place this Sunday, February 22nd, at 8pm ET/5pm PT on ABC. These rumours come from E! online, who reported that Twilight, the film that Rob stars as Edward Cullen, will have a 'presence', according to Oscar producer Laurence Mark. In fact, there will be more than one occasion in which the presence will take place. If he is a presenter, it's possible he'll be at the podium with his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, who portrays Bella in the film.
And if this isn't enough to get you to watch this year's Oscars, then don't forget that there will be footage from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that is supposed to show during a montage at the end of the ceremony. So make sure to drink lots of coffee/tea to stay up to watch the entire show - and set your DVRs, too! |

Dan and Rob on Fox News' Hottest Dudes Under 30
|
Fox News posted a photo gallery of the “Hottest Dudes Under 30” on their website. Here are the reasons why they chose Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) to be in their gallery:
7. Daniel Radcliffe, 19, was clearly not content just being famous. He set his sights on heartthrob status by beefing up and stripping down for his role in "Equus." Desperation is hot.
13. Robert Pattinson, 22, gained some recognition as Cedric in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," but it was his role as Edward Cullen in the ridiculously successful flick "Twilight" that vaulted him into our Top 30. Vampires are hot.
BandE made the comment that Pattinson should have been higher than #13 and I agree.

Tom Felton On People’s Poll For 'Alec' in New Moon
|
There is an unconfirmed report posted by E Online that Dakota Fanning is in negotiations for the part of “Jane” in New Moon which will star Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory). And now, People magazine has posted a poll on their website for fans to choose who should be cast as Jane’s twin brother Alec.
The twin vampires are the “bad vamps” written in New Moon by the novel's author Stephenie Meyer. That may be why Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) was listed on the poll.
Click here to vote. Who knows, if Felton gets enough votes, he may be seriously considered.
But please keep in mind that no official interest has been expressed or confirmed by any of the actors on the poll or by Summit Entertainment.
The other actors considered by People for their poll are Lucas Grabeel from High School Musical for his dark part in the film Milk; and Gaspard Ulliel for his part in Hannibal Rising. And then, there is Freddie Highmore who may surprise everyone with his “bad side”. |
