A School To Match Hogwarts

"Welcome to the new Brookhouse School building next to the Bomas of Kenya." The article continues by stating how tourists who drive in and out of the park will stop to take a photo of the school whose architecture was mainly conceived by the students. The children, ages 7-15, were asked what improvements they would like within the school’s environment. The majority of them came up with the concept of a castle after being inspired by the second Harry Potter movie which had a successful run in their area last year.

Rebekka Alimadi, one of the children who had the idea said, “It is exciting to have a school in the castle. Everyday I imagine that I am in Hogwarts; only there are no ghosts here and there is a lot of light. I have schooled in Uganda and Denmark, and there are no such schools there. The beautiful building and its environment makes me look forward to coming to school everyday.”

The library looks like a forest. It has a three-storey winding tree of knowledge. The school also has a waterfall jungle and a savannah rock-climbing playground.
