John Cleese (Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter films), who has the role as the inventor Q in the Bond films, told Ireland Online that he believes that the role of the amusing inventor has been cut. He would really love to do the part again, but the director, Martin Campbell, has stated, "Casino Royale will be a grittier, tougher and more realistic Bond movie. We'll be getting away from the huge visual effects and comic relief."
