We previously reported that Whimsic Alley was inviting young Harry Potter fans, ages 8-14, to be interviewed for an unannounced project. Snitchseeker’s katiebell took her daughter and her daughter’s friend to the event. She discovered the interviews were conducted by Scholastic, the US publisher of the Harry Potter series, who will conduct more interviews throughout the United States. The interviews will be edited into a video and presented to J.K. Rowling, the author, for her approval. Then, the video will be posted online in a couple of months on Scholastic’s website, as well as few others like Whimsic Alley and MSN, to promote the Harry Potter series to young, new readers in honor of the 10th anniversary of the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Thanks Snitchseeker
