After the date change was announced, Warner Bros. President Alan Horn sent a response to the fans about the delay.

Still, it seems, the disappointment of the Harry Potter fans has not decreased. Rather, there have been many letters, some including death threats, sent to WB. Protesters have stood outside the Burbank offices. Videos of fans' reactions (caution for adult language) have been posted to YouTube.

So far, however, none of these reactions have changed the decision to keep the film's (and now the game's) release date at July 2009.

So, what to do? There are a few things we fans can look forward to. There is the release of The Tales of Beedle the Bard in December. Emma Watson's (Hermione Granger) film Ballet Shoes has just been released on DVD. Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is currently on Broadway in Equus until February 2009. Rupert has just completed a new film, Cherry Bomb. Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) has also signed on for a few projects.
